NACDA/LEARFIELD DIRECTOR'S CUP RELEASE
KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College Athletics Department is tied for 91st
place on the 2018-19 Learfield Director's Cup Division III Fall Rankings released on Thursday afternoon. Points are awarded based on a team's finish in their NCAA Tournament. The Learfield Director's Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
The Red Men soccer team and Lady Reds volleyball team each netted 25 points for a fall total of 50, which is tied with 22 other institutions.
Carthage is one of four College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) schools on the 2018-19 Learfield Director's Cup Division III Fall Rankings along with Wheaton (28th
, 133 pts.), Illinois Wesleyan (35th
, 114 pts.) and North Central (Ill.) (43rd
, 100 pts.). Johns Hopkins University sits in the driver's seat on the 2018-19 Learfield Director's Cup Division III Fall Standings with 392 points.
The next Division III fall standings will be released on Thursday, December 20.
