Kicker/punter Tyler Funk, who played for the 2009 and 2010 Red Men after transferring from Illinois State University, was named Associated Press third-team Little All-America, American Football Coaches Association All-America, "D3football.com" first-team All-America, "D3football.com" first-team All-North Region and first-team All-CCIW in 2010 and set Carthage season records with 15 field goals and 72 points.  He converted 15-of-18 field goals that season and tied his own Carthage record with a 52-yard field goal at Concordia (Wis.) on Sept. 18.  In 2009, Funk was named AP second-team Little All-America, "D3football.com" first-team All-North Region and first-team All-CCIW.  He was the NCAA Division III national leader in punting in 2009 at 44.4 yards per kick.
