From Kenosha, Wis., and Bradford High School, Tom Fugette lettered twice in football (1965-66) and was named an NAIA honorable mention All-American fullback in 1966, as well as first-team All-CCIW and United Press International All-Wisconsin. He earned a doctorate in educational psychology from Marquette University in 1981 and served as the psychologist for the Kenosha Unified School district.
