From Hartford, Wis., Tim Roets was a four-year football letterwinner (1977-80), a three-time first-team All-CCIW honoree (1978-80) and a 1980 NCAA Division III All-American linebacker, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Roets still holds a Carthage season record with 174 tackles and both Carthage and Art Keller Field marks with 29 tackles in a game against Augustana College (Ill.) on Sept. 22, 1979.
