One of the most dominant men's basketball players in CCIW history, Djurickovic enters the Carthage Athletics Hall of Fame as a student-athlete with the Carthage basketball team. Following a successful high school career at Bradford High School in Kenosha, Wis., he joined his father, head coach Bosko Djurickovic's program in the fall of 2007. He saw immediate success as a freshman, averaging over 23 points per game, grabbing the attention of the nation.
As a sophomore, he set program records for both scoring average in a season at 27.6, and made free throws with 239, before breaking the school records for points (731) and assists (218) in a season as a junior. Djurickovic would finish his career on the court as the school's all-time leader in points with 2,547, which ranks third all-time in CCIW history, and is the only student-athlete in the conference's 75-year history to lead the CCIW in both scoring and assists all four seasons. He owns two NCAA Division III records for free throws made (839) and attempted (997), and ranks first at Carthage with 649 assists, second in field goals made with 791, and second in free-throw percentage at 84.2%.
Djurickovic was named the National Player of the Year by D3hoops.com in 2010, and was named a first team All-American by the website in both 2010 and 2011, and third-team All-American in 2009. The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) selected him as a first-team All-American and the Midwest Region Player of the Year in 2010 and 2011, as he won regional player of the year honors from D3hoops.com those years as well.
A two-time CCIW Fred Young Most Outstanding Player of the Year winner, he was named first-team all conference all four seasons. He was awarded the Jostens Trophy, named a Capital One First Team Academic All-American, and given the CCIW Jack Swartz All-Academic award in 2011. Djurickovic was also named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American Second Team as a junior in 2010.
Following a six-year career as an assistant coach for the Carthage men's basketball team, Djurickovic became the program's 22nd head coach on Aug. 1, 2020.
