From Cedarburg, Wis., Scott Weber was a four time letterwinner in both cross country (1974-78) and track and field (1975-79). He was a two-time All-CCIW honoree in cross country, finishing 10th in both 1977 and 1978 and qualifying for the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship both years. In track and field, he earned all-conference honors in 1976 in both the 800-meter run and the one-mile run; 1977 all-conference in the 800-meter run; 1978 all-conference in the 1,500-meter run; and 1979 all-conference in the 800-meter run. He was a five-time qualifier for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, three times in the 800-meter run and twice in the 1,500-meter run. He set a record, which still stands, in the 1,500-meter run in 1979. In 1979, Weber was named Carthage’s “Outstanding Athlete of the Year.”
