From Watertown, Wis., Ryan Lessner lettered four times in baseball (1997-2000) was named an American Baseball Coaches Association second-team All-American second baseman in 2000 and first-team All-CCIW in both 1999 and 2000. Lessner is Carthage’s career leader in batting (.406) and hit-by-pitch (47), while ranked second in career on-base percentage (.481), tied for third in triples (8), ranked sixth for base hits (229), sixth in runs scored (165) and eighth in doubles (47). He set school records in 2000 with 23 hit-by-pitches and a .561 on-base percentage. Lessner tied a Carthage game record with five runs scored versus North Park on April 12, 2000.
