From Freeport, Ill., Paul Hubbard lettered four times in basketball (1961-64) and was named first-team All-CCIW in both 1963 and 1964. Hubbard scored a 47 points against Lake Forest College on Feb. 16, 1963, a Carthage single-game record. He went on to become the athletic director and basketball coach at North Greene High School in White Hall, Ill.
