From Kenosha, Wis., Kris Allison lettered four times in softball (1972-75) and three times in volleyball (1972-74) while also participating in badminton and track and field. She went on to become the athletic director at Westosha High School in Salem, Wis., where she also coached softball (220-84, 15 years), winning nine Southern Lakes Conference title and making three appearances in the state championship.
Allison was inducted into the Wisconsin Softball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2012. She is also longtime Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association volleyball official
