From Appleton, Wis., John Zuleger lettered four times in baseball (1992-95) and was named an American Baseball Coaches Association first-team All-American catcher in 1994 with a .381 batting average, 14 home runs and 60 RBI and again in 1995 with a .374 mark, 15 home runs and 49 RBI. Zuleger was named to the 1995 NCAA Division III Central Regional all-tournament team. He was a three-time All-CCIW selection, second-team in 1992 and first team in both 1994 and 1995. He is Carthage’s career home run leader with 44, and he’s ranked seventh in RBI (177), ninth in doubles (45), sixth in slugging percentage (.647), third in bases on balls (100) and eighth in on-base percentage (.437).
