From Milwaukee, Jim Jodat is the all-time rushing leader both at Carthage and in the CCIW with 4,079 yards (1972-75). Jodat was named Associated Press Little All-America and NAIA second-team All-America in 1975, as well as CCIW Art Keller Award winner for the “Most Outstanding Offensive Player.” He was a four-time first-team All-CCIW selection.

Jodat went on to play for the National Football League Los Angeles Rams for four seasons and captained the Rams’ special teams in their 33-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1980’s Super Bowl XIV. Jodat also played on the Seattle Seahawks (1980-81) and finished his career with the San Diego Chargers (1982-83). He was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1990.
