From Milwaukee, Glynis (Payne) Walker lettered three times in track and field (1982-84) and four times in volleyball (1980-83). In track and field, she won a 1983 national title in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Walker also earned NCAA Division III All-American honors in 1984 when she finished second in the same event. In volleyball, Walker was named first-team All-Wisconsin Women’s Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 1981 and All-Chicago Metro Conference in 1983.
