From Kenosha, Wis., and Bradford High School, defensive back Dick Laba lettered four times in football from 1967-70 and remains the Red Men’s career leader in interceptions with 28 picks. He set a Carthage game record with three interceptions against Illinois Wesleyan University on Oct. 3, 1970 at Art Keller Field. He was named first-team All-CCIW four times.
