From Hortonville, Wis., Cory Everts lettered four times in baseball (1990-93) and was named an American Baseball Coaches Association third-team All-American pitcher in 1992. Everts was a four-time All-CCIW pick, second team in 1990, first team in both 1991 and 1992 and second team in 1993. He is ranked second on the Red Men’s career wins list (26), second in shutouts (8), third in earned run average (2.16) and third in strikeouts (185). He set a season record in 1992 with five shutouts and compiled a 1.02 earned run average. Everts threw a no-hitter to beat Carroll University, 1-0, on April 21, 1991.
