The New Lenox, Ill. native cemented himself instantly among the best in Carthage men's volleyball history, consistently spearheading the offense at setter all four seasons. As a freshman in 2011, he tallied 1,186 assists in 107 sets played and was named the AVCA Newcomer of the Year and a second team All-American. Wexter then set the school record for assists in a season when he totaled 1,356 in a program-best 121 sets played as a sophomore, and was named an AVCA First Team All-American.

Wexter recorded two more seasons with over 1,000 assists, with assist-per-set rates of 11.7 as a junior and 10.8 as a senior, while earning two more first team All-American honors from the AVCA. He was an all-conference selection each of his four seasons at Carthage, and helped lead the team to a 99-33 record during his time on campus.

He graduated as the program's all-time leader in career assists with 4,633, ranks fifth in career service aces with 85, fifth in digs with 616, and 10th in total blocks with 220. Each of his four seasons rank among the top-eight for most assists in a single season at Carthage.
