From Woodville, Wis., Brent Sagedal lettered four times in baseball (1992-1995) and was named a third-team American Baseball Coaches Association All-American pitcher and first-team All-CCIW in 1995 with a 9-3 record and a 3.12 earned run average. Sagedal was named second-team all-conference in 1994. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers after his senior season and pitched one year in the minor leagues following graduation from Carthage.
