MEET INFORMATION
KENOSHA, WIS.—After a month-long hiatus from competition, the Carthage College indoor track & field squads will host the Private College Invitational at the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center on Saturday, January 13. The field events will kick-off at 10:30 a.m. while the rolling schedule of running events will commence at 11:00 a.m.

The Lady Reds, who opened the season in fifth place out of seven teams at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational on December 2, received a momentum builder this week as they registered a #21 ranking on the 2018 USTFCCCA Indoor Women's Track & Field Preseason Poll. The Red Men pulled down second place out of eight teams at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational on December 2. Their performance resulted in a pair of individual titles in
Jake Menard (shot put, 15.67m), and
Dane Rasmussen's school-record 1:22.19 in the 600 meter run.

The Red Men and Lady Reds defeated MSOE, Roosevelt, Wisconsin Lutheran and UW-Parkside at last season's Private College Invitational en route to first place out of eight squads. The only other time Carthage squared-off against any other team in this season's field last year was the Tadd Metzger Invitational, where the Red Men and Lady Reds defeated Concordia (Wis.).

The track & field teams will return to competition at the North Central (Ill.) Cardinal Opener on Friday, January 19 in Naperville, Ill. Meet time is set for 4:30 p.m.
