KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College men's cross country team will compete in the Carleton College Running of the Cows Meet on Saturday, September 30 at the Carleton Arboretum in Northfield, Minn. The phrase "unfamiliar territory" highlights the event as Grinnell College is the lone squad Carthage has faced this season. Grinnell (fourth place) defeated Carthage (ninth place) at the Wheaton College Gil Dodds Invitational.
Â
Carleton, the lone ranked squad in the 11-team field, is only three years removed from taking 18
th place out of 32 teams at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship. The Red Men are coming off the Wheaton College Gil Dodds Invitational on September 16, where they registered five career-best times, led by Drew Heneghen's 28:10. Carthage has eclipsed 11 career-best times so far in 2017.
