KENOSHA, WIS.—Carthage College men's track & field multi-event specialist
Brad Krueger was named to the 2017 College of Sports Information Directors of America (COSIDA) All-District Team on Thursday morning. The junior from Marshfield, Wis. carries a 3.94 cumulative grade point average as a double major in chemistry and physics.

Krueger capped his 2017 outdoor season with 6038 points in the decathlon at the CCIW Championships, good enough for second place out of eight competitors. He also captured fifth place in the javelin with a toss of 48.57m. Krueger's indoor season ended with a third-place finish in the heptathlon (4636 points) at the CCIW Championships, and a first-place tally in the pole vault (4.29m) at the Private College Championship on January 14.

Academically, Krueger is a two-time United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic selection. He is also a philanthropy chair and academic board member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity. Krueger is a member of the Chemistry Honors Fraternity, the Honor Society Alpha Lambda Delta and the Leadership Fraternity Omicron Delta Kappa. Krueger is the men's track & field representative on the Carthage Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

He was named to the dean's list every semester at Carthage.
