FINAL RESULTS
OSHKOSH, WIS.—Twenty-five teams awaited the Carthage College men's cross country team at the UW-Oshkosh Kollege Town Sports Invitational at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis. on Saturday. The Red Men managed to defeat 20 of them with 171 points, good enough for sixth place. CCIW foe Augustana College (Ill.) pulled down the Kollege Town Sports Invitational Championship with 97 points, while UW-La Crosse alumnus Nathan Routheri (unattached) claimed the individual crown with a 25:20.6.
Junior
Suneed Ahmed paced all Red Men runners for the third time this season when he registered a 25th-place mark of 26:27.9. Ahmed's time was 0:31 shy of his career-best 25:56.8 achieved at the Carleton College Running of the Cows.
Logan Engberg settled for 31
st place with a time of 26:43.4, 0:30 from his season-best 26:40.6 at the Carleton Running of the Cows.
Camren Howard continued his strong 2017 campaign with a season-best 26:50.3, good enough for 35
th place.
Dan Cotton registered a 26:51.3 on Saturday, 0:13 off his season-best 26:38.0 at the Carleton College Running of the Cows.
Steven Wright, who paced all Red Men at last week's Benedictine Eagle Invitational, took 58
th place with a mark of 27:17.4.
Matt August (27:42.2) and
Zachary Minda (27:51.7) rounded out the Red Men top-seven finisher list.

Carthage will embark on a week hiatus before they compete in the CCIW Cross Country Championship on Saturday, October 28 at the St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville, Ill. Runners will straddle the start line at 1:00 p.m.
