USTFCCCA Official Releases

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Friday that Carthage College Women's Track and Field has been named as a 2015 Division III All-Academic Track & Field team.  A total of 170 women's teams earned the distinction as a result of earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or higher.

Additionally, five student athletes received individual scholar athlete recognition, as Brad Krueger and Branden Miller on the men's side, and Becca McMullin, Elanta Slowek and Morgan Young on the women's side, garnered the individual honors.

For Branden Miller, Becca McMullin and Morgan Young, this is the second-consecutive year that the three have been honored as individual All-Academic by the coaches association.

To receive the individual honors, student-athletes must have competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship, or have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 35 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 25 in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.
