Nine Carthage Players Named 2013 All-Midwest Lacrosse Conference

Hunter Douglas, Danny Morse and Mason Poage Named First-Team All-MLC

Nine Carthage players were named 2013 All-Midwest Lacrosse Conference, three of the nine to the first team.  The three first-team honorees were face off Hunter Douglas (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain, 203 ground balls, 288-427 face offs), attackman Danny Morse (Jr., O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon Township, 61, goals, 29 assists, 37 ground balls) and midfielder Mason Poage (Sr., Columbia, Mo./Hickman, 33, goals, 32 assists, 23 ground balls). 

Defenseman Brad Lindsay (So., Evergreen, Colo., 48 ground balls), midfielder Jack Meachum (Jr., Naperville, Ill./North, 40 goals, 36 assists, 75 ground balls), long stick midfielder Dylan Roach (Fr., Beaverton, Ore./Westview, 41 ground balls) and attackman Peter Slefinger (Sr., Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton-Warrenville South, 53 goals, 21 assists, 42 ground balls) were named second-team All-MLC, with defenseman Matt Camarata (Fr., San Diego, Calif./St. Augustine, 25 ground balls) and long stick midfielder Adam Rowland (Fr., Colorado Springs, Colo./Air Academy, 27 ground balls) earning honorable mention citations.
