Carthage's No. 1 men's tennis doubles team of Jeff Lotz Jr. (Jr., Racine, Wis./Horlick) and Daneric Hazelman (Sr., Lautoka, Fiji Islands) lost its quarterfinal match in the NCAA Division III Doubles Championship on Friday, May 25 at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, N.C.  The Red Men duo fell to Warren Elgort and Jacob Barnaby from Johns Hopkins University, 6-3 and 6-4. 

Lotz and Hazelman advanced to the quarterfinals with a Thursday, May 24 first-round win over Williams College's Bryan Chow and Richard Meyer, 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-4.  By advancing to the quarterfinals, Lotz and Hazelman earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America honors and finished the year with a Carthage-record 34-4 mark.
