The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (9-3, 3-0 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) tripped up non-conference-opponent Olivet College (2-13), 15-2, on Friday, April 20 at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet, Mich. 

The Lady Reds led the Comets, 9-1, at halftime and out-scored Olivet, 6-1, in the second period.  Sydney Whitaker (So., Bainbridge, Wash.) led Carthage with four goals, one assist and one ground ball.  Sohayla Horani (Fr., Tigard, Ore.) had two goals and three ground balls, while Natalie Ceis (Jr., Seattle, Wash./Seattle Prep) added two goals.  Taylor Guarnacci and Geri Merrell scored the two Olivet goals. 

Carthage journeys on to Adrian, Mich., on Saturday, April 21 to play MWLC-opponent Adrian College (12-2, 4-0 MWLC) in a 1 p.m., EDT game at the Multisport Performance Stadium.
