Results

The Carthage College women's tennis team (12-6, 5-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) defeated St. Norbert College (12-7), 7-2, on Sunday, April 15 at the Smeds Tennis Center in Kenosha, Wis. 

Carthage's Hollis McPeek (Sr., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 12-10) defeated St. Norbert's Nancy Chybowski at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-2.  Bari Reynolds (So., Sterling, Ill., 19-6) won over the Green Knights' Callie Schroeder, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 2 singles.  Haleigh McPeek (Fr., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 5-3) was a winner at No. 3 singles, as was Kristina Naidicz (Sr., Kenosha, Wis./Tremper, 13-11) at No. 4 singles, Erin Henrickson (Fr., Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South, 8-15) at No. 5 singles and Amanda Bizub (Sr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead, 10-7) at No. 6 singles. 

Carthage's No. 1 doubles team of McPeek and McPeek (7-1) lost to Chybowski and Laura Michael by an 8-4 margin  The Lady Reds' No. 2 team of Reynolds and Naidicz (3-5) also lost, while Carthage's No. 3 tandem of Henrickson and Bizub (5-3) was a winner. 

Carthage travels to Lake Forest, Ill., on Sunday, April 22 to play an 11 a.m. match at Lake Forest College (5-11).
