Carthage College's Sarah Thompson (Sr., Byron, Ill.) was named a CCIW “Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week” on April 10.  Thompson won the heptathlon at the April 6 Chicagoland Outdoor Championship with 4,315 points, which currently ranks first in the CCIW and sixth on the national list.
