The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (2-1, 0-0 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) nipped Kenyon College (1-1), 11-10, on Saturday, March 10 at North Central College's Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium in Naperville, Ill.  Kenyon led, 7-4, at halftime, but Carthage came back to out-score the Ladies, 7-3, in the second period. 

Sydney Whitaker (So., Bainbridge, Wash.) led the Lady Reds with five goals.  Lauren Chatham (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) had three goals and an assist, while Taylor Holleschau (Fr., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) added two goals.  Goalkeeper Ali Gorman (So., Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway Central) collected eight saves.  Emily Nichols paced Kenyon with four goals, while Leah Sack had one goal and four assists.  Carthage plays its home-opener on Saturday, March 17 with a 2 p.m. game versus Augustana College (Ill., 6-2) at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
