Carthage College's Ember McCoy (So., Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin “Women's Swimmer of the Week” on Jan. 10.  McCoy won three events in a 127-78 dual-meet victory over Lewis University on Jan. 7  She took first place in the 200 freestyle (1:59.09), the 500 freestyle (5:19.81) and the 1,000 freestyle (10:57.24).  McCoy swam the 1,000 and 200 freestyle back-to-back, achieving her second best time in the 200 freestyle this season.
