The Carthage College women's track and field team was ranked 16th in the April 20 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches of America NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field poll.

Wartburg College was ranked first in the April 20 poll, followed by Wisconsin-Oshkosh second, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College third, Methodist College fourth, Central College fifth, Whitworth University sixth, Texas Lutheran University seventh, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology eighth, Calvin College ninth, Rhodes College 10th and CCIW-member North Central College ranked 11th. Carthage College was ranked 16th in the national poll.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh was ranked first in the April 20 USTFCCCAA Midwest Regional poll, followed by North Central (Ill.) second, Wisconsin-La Crosse third, Wisconsin-Eau Claire fourth, Washington University (Mo.) fifth, Monmouth College sixth, Carthage seventh, Wisconsin-Whitewater eighth, Greenville College ninth and the University of Chicago ranked 10th.
