The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (8-7, 7-1 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) has clinched a berth in the inaugural Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Tournament.
Conference-champion Adrian College will play host to that four-team event at its Multisport Performance Stadium in Adrian, Mich., on Friday-Saturday, April 29-30. The top-four teams qualify for the tournament. Top-seeded Adrian (15-4, 7-0 MWLC) will play fourth-seeded North Central College (currently 6-6, 4-3) in a 6:30 p.m., EDT semifinal game on Friday, April 29, with second-seeded Carthage (currently 8-7, 7-1) taking on third-seeded Trine University (7-4, 5-2) in the other semifinal contest at Noon, EDT. The Saturday, April 30 championship game gets underway at 1 p.m., EDT.
