The Carthage College women's water polo team (0-0), ranked ninth in the Feb. 23 Collegiate Water Polo Association's NCAA Division III poll, opened its 2011 season at the Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 12-13 “Dave Madej Tournament” at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Ill. 

On Saturday, Feb. 12, Carthage lost to the CPD Club, 12-8; lost to the Windy City Club, 7-4; and defeated Lindenwood University's club team by a 15-7 margin. On Sunday, Feb. 13, the Lady Reds defeated the Loyola University (Ill.) club team, 14-5.  

Carthage travels to South Bend, Ind., on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 25-26 for the University of Notre Dame Club Tournament. On Friday, Feb. 25, Carthage plays Grand Valley State University at 8:40 p.m. (all times EST) On Sunday, Feb. 25, the Lady Reds take on Michigan State University at 11 a.m., the University of Florida at 4 p.m. and the University of Iowa at 7 p.m.
