Zak Khoshbin (Sr., Hawthorn Woods, Ill./Lake Zurich) and women's volleyball outside hitter
Lauren Dembkowski (Sr., Mount Prospect, Ill./Arlington Heights-Hersey) have been named fall 2011 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin/Jack Swartz all-academic.
Khoshbin was named CCIW “Men's Soccer Player of the Year” and first-team All-CCIW. A double major in accounting and finance with a 3.504 cumulative grade-point average, Khoshbin has been named to the Carthage dean's list four times, and he's a three-semester member of the Carthage athletic director's honor roll.
Dembkowski was named American Volleyball Coaches Association third-team All-America, AVCA first-team All-Midwest Region and first-team All-CCIW. A social science major with a 3.824 cumulative grade-point average, Dembkowski has been named to the Carthage dean's list six times, and she's a three-semester member of the Carthage athletic director's honor roll.
