The Carthage College men's soccer team was ranked fifth in the Oct. 25 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Central Region poll.  Washington (Mo., 13-1-1) was ranked first in the regional poll, followed by CCIW-member North Park (10-3-3) second, Calvin College (13-3-1) third, Dominican University (Ill., 15-2-0) fourth, Carthage College (10-5-2) fifth, Hope College (10-4-3) sixth, Greenville College (11-5-3) seventh, Trine University (10-4-2) eighth, Westminster College (Mo., 9-3-4) ninth and conference-member Elmhurst College (7-5-2) ranked 10th. 

Washington (Mo., 12-1-0 overall record, 11-1-0 in-region) was ranked first in the Oct. 19 NCAA Central Region poll, followed by CCIW-member North Park (9-0-3, 8-0-3) second, Dominican (Ill., 13-2-0, 13-2-0) third, Calvin (11-3-1, 9-2-1) fourth, Trine (10-2-2, 10-2-2) fifth and Hope (8-4-3, 7-4-3) ranked sixth.
