The Carthage College women's tennis team (2-0, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) blanked Wisconsin Lutheran College (2-4), 9-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at the Smeds Tennis Center in Kenosha, Wis. 

Carthage's Hollis McPeek (Jr., Lake Bluff/Lake Forest, 2-0) defeated Wisconsin Lutheran's Kathryn Hendree, 6-0, 6-2, at number-one singles, and Bari Reynolds (Fr., Sterling, Ill., 2-3) defeated Lindsay Gauger, 6-2, 6-1, at number-two singles. Kristina Naidicz (Jr., Kenosha, Wis./Tremper, 2-0) was a winner at number-three singles, as was Kelsey Bowen (Fr., Beach Park, Ill./Zion-Benton Township, 1-1) at number-four singles, Amanda Bizub (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead, 2-0) at number-five singles and Holly Weber (Fr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central, 1-1) at number six singles. 

The Lady Reds' number-one doubles team of McPeek and Naidicz (4-1) was a winner over the Warriors, as was the number-two team on Weber and Kaitlyn Farrell (Sr., Ottawa, Ill./Ottawa Township, 2-2) and the number-three tandem of Sarah Sodemann(Fr. Janesville, Wis./Parker) and Brittney Helbig (Jr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central, 1-0). Carthage travels to Rock Island, Ill., on Saturday, Sept. 11 to play CCIW-opponent Augustana College (Ill., 4-2, 3-1 CCIW) in a 1:30 p.m. match.
