The Carthage College women's water polo team (12-6), ranked eighth in the April 7 Collegiate Water Polo Association's NCAA Division III coaches poll, split a pair of matches at the Saturday, April 17 Wheaton College (Ill.) “Tri-State Games” at the Chrouser Fitness Center Pool in Wheaton, Ill. The Lady Reds defeated the Loyola University (Ill.) club team, 15-6, before falling to the University of Notre Dame club team by a 13-7 margin. Carthage travels to Utica, N.Y, on Friday-Saturday, April 23-24 for the Collegiate Water Polo Association's Eastern Division Championship at Utica's Harold T. Clark Athletic Center.
