The Carthage College baseball team (2-2, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin), ranked ninth in the March 2 “D3baseball.com” poll, came up on the short end of a 14-10 donnybrook with No. 2 the College of Wooster (2-0) on Monday, March 8 at North Charlotte Regional Park in North Port, Fla.

Pitcher Dave Foss (0-1) started for Carthage and worked the first two and two-thirds innings. Andy Pucher entered the game in the third, Matt Martinski in the seventh and Chadd Ori in the ninth.
