Carthage College's Kelsey Epping (Sr., Bloomington, Ill./Downs-Tri Valley) was named CCIW “Softball Potcher of the Week” on March 16.  Epping picked up three wins for the Lady Reds on their spring trip to the Florida “Rebel Games” in Kissimmee, Fla.  She defeated Waldorf 3-0 in a two-hit shutout on March 8, and then downed Bluffton 2-0 on March 10, giving up only six hits. She finished the week with a 3-0 win over Aurora on March 11, giving up only two hits with 14 strikeouts. Epping allowed no runs in 26 innings of work on the week.
