The Carthage College women's lacrosse team played four exhibition games on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Trine University in Angola, Ind. Carthage defeated the College of Mount St. Joseph, 5-0; won over Tiffin University, 7-4; tied Aquinas College, 3-3; and lost to the Indian Institute of Technology by a 4-1 margin. All four games used a 25-minute running clock. Leading the Lady Reds was Jennifer John in goal with a shutout against Mount St. Joseph. John posted 20 saves and eight goals against in three games.  The defense of Morgan Weinstock, Tiffany Martin and Kelly Fitzpatrick caused three turnovers each.  Kate Flanagan led the midfield with five caused turnovers, three goals and seven ground balls.   Leading the attack was Olivia Nino with seven goals and one assist.  Also contributing on attack was Natalie Ceis with three goals and one assist.
