Mario Amien completed his seventh year, in his second stint, as part-time assistant coach in 2011-12. Amien served in the same capacity in the 2004 and 2005 seasons. A native of Heredia, Costa Rica, he graduated from the National University of Costa Rica in 1982 with a bachelor’s in physical education. Amien is a United State Professional Tennis Association certified coach and a teaching professional at the Kenosha Athletic Center. He is also a ranked player in the United State Tennis Association’s Wisconsin adult league.
