Tim Schultz begins his third year as a volunteer assistant coach in 2012 after being a member of Carthage’s inaugural varsity team in 2009. A native of Gurnee, Ill., Schultz attended the College of Lake County for two years before transferring to Carthage in 2008-09. He graduated from Carthage in 2010 with a bachelor’s in both special education and history.
